Mike Reiss has won four Emmys and a Peabody Award during his 28 years writing for The Simpsons. He is also an award-winning mystery writer, playwright, and children’s book author. He’s written jokes for Johnny Carson, Joan Rivers, Garry Shandling, and Pope Francis! In 2015, the Pope named Reiss “a Missionary of Joy”. Reiss has lectured on The Simpsons and Judaism in 20 countries.
