Guri Stark is an artist, author, and is the CEO of a medical software company in San Diego. His multi-media lectures on art and music all over the world provide a unique perspective by combining the artists’ personal biographies, art history and world historical events that influenced the artists. Guri holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science from the Tecnion in Israel. His art topics include Picasso, Van Gogh, Chagall, Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera, Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, Degenerate Art by the definition of the Nazis, Holocaust Art and the Israeli artists Reuven Rubin and Nachum Gutman. His musical topics include the history of Jazz, American Folk Music, the history of Rock & Roll, The Beatles and the 60’s. Born in Israel, Guri moved to the United States 30 years ago. With his distinctively strong and brilliant watercolors, Guri made a name for himself as an artist in Israel, Denver, San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego where he participates in numerous shows, exhibitions and galleries.
